Cane Harvest Festival

Our students had a fantastic time participating in the local Cane Harvest Festival! They enthusiastically joined in the celebrations, showcasing their creativity and community spirit. The festival provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with the local community, learn about the region’s rich agricultural heritage, and build lasting memories with friends and families. We’re proud to see our students actively engaging with and contributing to our vibrant community!

Eisteddfod

Our school was proud to take part in the Grafton Eisteddfod this year, showcasing the incredible talents of our dance group and whole school choir. Our passionate dancers brought energy and creativity to the stage, while our choir united voices from across the school to deliver a beautiful and harmonious performance. Participating in the Eisteddfod was a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop their confidence, teamwork, and artistic skills. We celebrate their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to more inspiring performances in the future!

Mother's and Father's Day

Our school recently celebrated both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day with special events that brought our community together in heartfelt appreciation. Students and their families enjoyed sharing morning tea and breakfasts, creating warm and memorable moments to honour the important role of parents in their lives. These celebrations provided a wonderful opportunity for families to connect and for students to express their gratitude and love. We are proud to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where family is valued and celebrated throughout the year.

Sporting Achievements

We are incredibly proud of our students’ outstanding sporting achievements this year! A special congratulations to our swimming relay team for their remarkable performance in reaching the North Coast Swimming Carnival—a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and skill. Their success, along with many other sporting accomplishments across a range of activities, highlights the talent and commitment of our students. We celebrate their hard work and sportsmanship and look forward to cheering them on in future competitions!

Koala Day

Our school was thrilled to take part in a Koala Education Day, provided by Clarence Landcare and Mudyala. This special event provided a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn about koala conservation and the important work being done to protect these iconic native animals. Through engaging activities and presentations, students gained a deeper understanding of local ecosystems and the role they can play in preserving wildlife. We are grateful to Clarence Landcare and Mudyala for making Koala Day a memorable and educational experience for our school community.

3-6 School Camp

Our Year 3-6 students had an unforgettable experience at the Coffs Coast Adventure Centre during their recent school camp. Filled with exciting outdoor activities, team challenges, and opportunities to connect with nature, the camp was a fantastic way for students to build confidence, develop resilience, and strengthen friendships. The adventure-packed days allowed our students to step out of their comfort zones while creating lasting memories together. We’re proud of their enthusiasm and positive spirit throughout this incredible camp experience!

K-2 Excursion

Our K-2 students had a wonderful time exploring the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary on their recent excursion. This hands-on experience gave our youngest learners the chance to see native animals up close and learn about wildlife conservation in a fun and engaging environment. The trip was filled with exciting moments and valuable lessons, helping to inspire a love and respect for nature from an early age. We’re delighted to provide these enriching opportunities that support our students’ curiosity and connection to the natural world.
