Cane Harvest Festival

Our students had a fantastic time participating in the local Cane Harvest Festival! They enthusiastically joined in the celebrations, showcasing their creativity and community spirit. The festival provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with the local community, learn about the region’s rich agricultural heritage, and build lasting memories with friends and families. We’re proud to see our students actively engaging with and contributing to our vibrant community!

Eisteddfod

Students were excited to take part in the Grafton Eisteddfod this year, with our dance group and school choir performing on stage. Our dancers brought energy and creativity to their routine and were thrilled to place first in their category. The choir sang together beautifully and proudly placed second in theirs. Taking part in the Eisteddfod was a great way for students to build confidence, teamwork, and have fun together.

GRIP Leadership

Year 6 students had the opportunity to attend the GRIP Leadership Conference. The event gave them valuable insights and practical skills to help develop their confidence, teamwork, and leadership abilities. It was a great experience to inspire and prepare them for future leadership roles both at school and in the wider community.

Lawrene Museum

Our whole school enjoyed an excursion to the Lawrence Museum, where students had the chance to learn about the history and stories of our local area. Connecting with the local community through experiences like this helps students appreciate where they live and understand the people and events that have shaped it. It’s a valuable opportunity to bring learning to life and strengthen our ties with the community around us.
