Lawrence Public School is now in our second year of experiencing the pleasures and responsibility of owning chickens.
The students on the Chook Committee are responsible for recycling our food waste at recess and lunch to feed the chickens. They are currently off the lay due to the cold weather but who could blame them.
We sell the eggs to assist in buying supplies for the chooks however, if you would like to contribute to our chickens well being while they are off the lay it would be appreciated.
